Overview
The Wix integration lets you automatically publish your IndexPilot articles directly to your Wix blog. Once connected, you can sync optimized articles to your Wix site in a single click—no copy-pasting required.
Step 1: Generate a Wix API Key
Log in to your Wix account.
Navigate to Settings → API Keys.
Click Generate API Key.
Enable Content Management permissions (required to post articles).
Copy and securely store your API Key — you’ll only see it once.
Step 2: Locate Your Site ID
From your Wix Dashboard, select the site you want to connect.
Check the URL in your browser — it will look like:
https://www.wix.com/dashboard/{SITE_ID}/...Copy the Site ID (the long string of characters after
/dashboard/).
Connecting Wix to IndexPilot
In IndexPilot, open Integrations → Wix.
Enter your Site ID and API Key.
Click Validate Connection to test your credentials.
Choose which blog collection to publish to.
Add your Author Name (this name will appear on published posts).
Select whether synced articles should be created as Draft or Published.
Click Save Integration to complete setup.
Once connected, your Wix integration will appear with a “Connected” status in your Integrations dashboard.
Syncing Articles to Wix
After setup, publishing is simple:
Open any article inside IndexPilot.
Click the Sync to Wix button.
The article will automatically be pushed to your Wix blog collection.
If you selected Draft, review and publish it from your Wix dashboard.
If you selected Published, it will go live on your site immediately.
Troubleshooting
“Failed to connect to Wix”
Confirm your API Key is valid and active.
Check your Site ID is correct (copied from your dashboard URL).
Ensure your API Key includes Content Management permissions.
“No collections found”
Verify that at least one blog collection exists in Wix.
Make sure your API Key has read access to collections.
“Sync button not appearing”
Confirm Wix is set as your active CMS in IndexPilot.
Check your integration status shows as Connected under Integrations.
